Study on Synthesis Process of the Copolymerizationof Carbon Dioxide,Propylene Oxide and 1,8-naphthalic Anhydride

Abstract
In our report, the production of polycarbonate(PPCA) which was synthesized by copolymer reaction with propylene oxide(PO), carbon dioxide and naphthalene anhydride(NA) under the action of the catalyst was investigated, and the effects of different operating temperatures and pressures on the recovery of PPCA were observed and the correlations of PPCA polymerization reaction with the addition of NA and the change of reaction time were obtained. The results showed that it were suitable when the pressure is 4.0 MPa, charging ratio is m(PO): m(NA)=100: 3, the reaction time is 48 hours and operating temperature is 70℃, the PPCA yield was about 25%, and the oxidation reaction of propylene copolymerization followed the first order kinetics.
