Abstract: With the development of society, the P. E. courses based on the competitive gymnastics can no longer meet the requirements of P. E. majors and the development of modern society. The questionnaire investigation and the Pareto-approach were used to dissect the related factors which affect the development of college gymnastics courses, and the orientation of teaching content under the society development background was analyzed, and some suggestions were proposed.
