Abstract: In this paper, the interviews, questionnaire investigation and mathematical statistics method were performed to analyze the implementation status of Rural Middle School Sunshine Sports in Zhao Tong City. The results indicated that the current status of Rural Middle School Sunshine Sports in Zhao Tong City is very bad, which include the poor sports teaching environment, shortage of teaching staff, and substituting P. E. to other courses; and that the leads and teachers of schools lack the understanding of the connotation of Rural Middle School Sunshine Sports; without enough propaganda and supervision from government, all of which became the main factors hindering the progresses of Rural Middle School Sunshine Sports in Zhaotong City
