Abstract: National Standard for determining caffeine in caffee and it’s products has been not described. In this paper, a spectrophotometric method for the determination of caffeine has described. Beer’s law is followed from 0—20 μg/ml of caffeine. The effects of acidity and deposit agent have been studied. The recovering rate of standard sample was able to reach 98.8%. The oeration in this method is simple. This method may be used in factories’ quality control and would have some practice value.
