海南省海洋贝类物种多样性与系统分类学研究进展

Research Progress on the Species Diversity and Systematics of Marine Mollusca in Hainan Province

  • 摘要: 海南省作为中国热带海洋生物多样性的重要研究区域,蕴藏着极为丰富的贝类资源。概述了海南省贝类的多样性特征、经典分类学及系统分类学研究现状,并分析了现有研究的不足之处。据统计,海南省目前已有研究记录的贝类涵盖了5个纲、185科、1 129种。然而,研究仍受形态学误判、调查范围局限、栖息地破碎化及分子标记限制等因素制约。未来研究应依托环境DNA技术、多维数据融合及系统基因组学手段,构建高分辨率系统发育框架,并加强区域协作,推动贝类资源的全面调查及保护。

     

    Abstract: As a critical research area for tropical marine biodiversity in China, Hainan Province hosts exceptionally rich molluscan resources, with documented species spanning 5 classes, 185 families, and 1129 species. This review synthesizes the diversity characteristics of mollusks on Hainan Province, evaluates progress in classical and systematic taxonomy, and identifies major limitations. Despite the favorable marine environments supporting diverse molluscan communities, current studies face challenges including morphological misidentification due to cryptic species and phenotypic plasticity, spatial sampling biases in coastal and deep-sea zones, habitat fragmentation from coastal urbanization, and technical constraints in molecular marker applications for phylogenetic resolution. To address these issues, future research should integrate environmental DNA metabarcoding for biodiversity monitoring, employ multidimensional data fusion combining ecological niche modeling and biogeochemical parameters, adopt phylogenomic approaches to construct high-resolution phylogenetic frameworks, and strengthen cross-regional collaborations to standardize conservation strategies.
